I make my own wine and have found that Online Labels offer the best solutions and selection in the market. The Chardonnay (on left) uses the Online Label described. The Cabernet on the right uses another brand (box store) and is noticeably washed out. The image/text on the Chardonnay is sharp & crisp and holds up well in against moisture and ice. I made a jig that holds the bottles perfectly straight while applying labels to keep them consistent (I show it in another picture).
Part of the fun and reward in making your own wine is designing the labels. You have to think out of the box and experiment with pictures, texts, fonts, colors and themes resulting in several potential labels to choose from (get your spouse involved. For instance if you want an "Old World" look for an Italian Barberra or Amarone to match a crumbling house/villa, you might use your own house (or just a door entrance) with a a Photo Editors Filter and Pictorialization tools to get the desired result. Same with colors, fonts and sizes. When naming your "Wine Company", make it look quasi-official while tying it back to your name and/or domicile.
