As a hobby and part time business, I created scratch built scaled buildings for model car collector and automotive enthusiets around the world. Shown is a 1:24 scale replica of a 1950s Gas station. The walls are made of 3/16 foamboard and are coverded, inside and out, with graphics printed 8.5 X 11 sticker paper. I've been building these for about 7 years now. I've built close to 250 to date.
Useful tips for this project
I print on a Ricoh Color Laser Jet printer. The laser printer adds a nice sheen to the sheets. I cut all the sheets on 25" X 12" X 1/2" glass slab for smooth edges.
