The Clear Matte for Inkjet is not a waterproof material but you could potentially try using a clear overcoat spray to help protect the printed area from moisture. However, I would recommend samples for testing this overcoat spray on the Clear Matte for Inkjet. If you have access to a laser printer, our Clear Gloss and Clear Matte for Laser are waterproof and should not require additional coatings. The White Gloss Laser (WS) is a glossy coated paper-based material and is not intended for outdoor use. A weatherproof option like our Weatherproof Polyester Laser (LP) or Weatherproof Vinyl Laser (LV) would be better options. This label paper fades rapidly.....

This label paper is nice, but the color fades rapidly- if exposed to light and or heat, even room lighting. I switched to the "weatherproof"- it doesn't fade as fast.
