How To Make A Halloween Treat Bag Topper
Halloween is still more than a month away but it's never too early to start planning what treats you'll be giving out. My kids usually like to give their friends a little gift for the big day and these Halloween treat bag toppers are going to be perfect.
You can print them out in just minutes, staple them to a treat bag with candy, and you're good to go!
Supplies
To make your own treat bag toppers you're going to need a few sheets of cardstock tents from OnlineLabels.com. The quality of their cardstock paper is great. It's thick enough to feel sturdy in your hands but not so thick that it'll jam your printer.
You can customize the Halloween tags through the Maestro Label Designer platform. I created blank "To" and "From" sections but you can omit those and add a custom message instead. That makes this project even easier!

Start by printing the pre-designed label template onto the compatible tent cards.
Once the tents have printed, you can remove the excess paper by just tearing away at the perforations.
I love that I don't even have to pull out my paper trimmer to finish these Halloween treat bag tags. Seriously, the perforated edges are an awesome time saver.
Once they've been printed, all you have to do is fill in the the "To" and "From" sections.
Or, if you're child is able to, have them fill out these sections. It's a great way for them to work on their handwriting skills!
The great thing about these labels is that you can fill the bag with any treat. I filled mine with orange Sixlets but any Halloween-themed candy will work. You could even fill a bag with cheese puffs for more of a snack. Or baby carrots if you're trying to stick with healthy treats!
