Supplies
There are two free printable label templates you'll need to download and then the corresponding sheet products. Click on the links below to download and purchase each, respectively.
Instructions
Assembling these vintage cassette tape cards couldn't be easier.
Step 1
Print out the two free label templates on one blank sheet of cardstock and one audio cassette label sheet. Or print off a few sheets of each to store until needed!
Step 2
Cut the "cassette tapes" out by hand or if you're planning on making tons, use a cutting machine. If you are doing it by hand, I found it easiest to cut all the straight lines with a paper cutter, fold the card, and then trim both sides at once with a rounded corner punch.
Step 3
Now that the cards are trimmed and ready to go, you can just pull one out and add a customized label when the moment of need arises.
I thought it would be fun to make a "True Love Mix" and "Happy Birthday Mix," but any occasion would work. These are going to save so much time since it seems like I'm always running to the store for a quick card. Vintage cassette tape cards for the win!
Step 4
Now that the labels have been written out, just peel it off the backing and apply in place on "cassette tape." Don't worry if it's off-centered or slightly slanted, it'll just look more authentic!
There you have it, your Vintage Cassette Tape Cards are ready to go! Hope you enjoy giving out these fun cards to all your friends and family!
