Project was for a monthly sweet box subscription service. Our client wanted a MiniPak that contained 5 pieces of assorted caramel flavors. As the box service freezes our caramels, this label needed to be waterproof.
The labels were cut and then wrapped over the top and back of the bags. They included the name of our company, all of the ingredients and a bar code on the back of the label. Being waterproof was extremely important as these MiniPaks would be frozen until shipped.
We used this label because it was waterproof. It helped the ink from smearing through transit. Since we cut all our labels using crop marks, my suggestion would be to make sure the sheet of labels sits 5 to 10 minutes before being scored. This way, the ink won't smear.
