- Store in a cool, dry place: Direct thermal labels shouldn’t be in environments with excessive heat and humidity. Exposure to these elements can degrade the label's coating and reduce print quality.
- Protect against sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade the labels and reduce their readability. Store them in a shaded area or use opaque containers to shield them from UV rays.
- Maintain proper stacking: When storing multiple rolls of direct thermal labels, ensure they are stacked evenly and not under excessive pressure. Excessive pressure can cause the labels to deform or stick together, which can result in printing issues.
Core Sizes: 1-inch, 3-inch, and .75-inch

For smaller desktop printers and handheld devices, 1-inch cores are the most common size. They’re suitable for compact printers that have limited space for label rolls.
Industrial-grade printers typically require larger rolls of labels with 3-inch cores. Larger core sizes accommodate larger rolls, which reduce the frequency of label roll changes, improving overall efficiency.
We also offer fanfold labels and mobile printer labels. Fanfold labels come in a zigzag stack and are commonly used in high-volume printing environments. Mobile printer labels, as the name suggests, are designed for portable printers, feature a .75-inch core, and offer convenience for on-the-go labeling needs.
