OnlineLabels Makes Food Safety Standards More Accessible with New Pre-Printed Labels

By Online Labels

SANFORD, FL, July 18, 2024

Sanford, Florida—OnlineLabels, a leading provider of label solutions for businesses and consumers, has launched a new line of dietary and food safety labels. The new labels are designed to conform to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, allowing food businesses to comply with labeling standards.

Food security labels are essential in providing consumers with vital information regarding ingredients, instructions, and handling of food products. With the new line, OnlineLabels wants to help businesses facilitate transparency with their food labeling.

"We are deeply committed to supporting the food sector's industries in meeting and exceeding food safety requirements," says OnlineLabels President Dave Carmany. "Our launch focuses on six key labeling categories to ensure we cover food businesses' most common pain points."

The new products are divided into six food label categories:

  • Food identification labels: labels found on food packaging distinguishing between products.
  • Dietary restrictions labels: labels that help consumers with specific dietary needs or preferences. Label designs include "gluten-free," "dairy-free," "vegan," and "vegetarian."
  • Allergy warning labels: inform customers of common allergens that could cause adverse reactions. These include egg, wheat, nut, dairy, soy, shellfish, fish, peanut, and sesame allergen warning labels.
  • Tamper evidence/safety labels: security features used on food packaging to indicate if the product has been opened or altered.
  • Promotional labels: designed to attract consumers' attention by highlighting social media handles, coupons, and other offers.
  • Food safety labels: provide vital information to ensure food is handled, stored, and consumed safely. These labels help prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure good food practices.

OnlineLabels has launched over 30 new designs. Each design is printed on a roll label. Core sizes vary from 1" to 3", with 500 to 1,000 labels per roll. After printing, each product is laminated with a gloss finish. The laminate protects the design from handling, contact with moisture, refrigeration, and other common conditions in the food industry.

OnlineLabels is the industry leader for personal and professional labeling. Dedicated to its customers' success, the manufacturer and e-commerce retailer offers an extensive selection of label configurations, design tools, and award-winning customer service. It is revolutionizing the labeling industry with resources and services that empower customers to achieve their goals.

More information about the product can be found on the company's pages for diet and allergy labels, deli labels, and restaurant labels.
