Are these actually waterproof even when printing with inkjet?

I need a round white label that will cover almost the surface of a U.S. nickel. I am thinking maybe a half inch. I'll need about 15,000.

Question 4

I have never tried laser gloss labels. Will the gloss finish stay true when heated by the laser printer? I have tried printing inkjet gloss label in a laser printer and the gloss finish became matted. I mean the title of the label speaks for it but i wanted to get a confirmation that the gloss finish wont get matted in a laser printer if i were to use the laser gloss labels?

You're welcome to visit the link below to our Sample Request page to test the OL1025WS with our laser printer. For optimal print results, try adjusting the paper type setting to Labels, Cardstock, or Transparency. This should help fuse the toner into the material and allow the glossy coating to show through.

Question 5

Do these have the same alignment as Avery 6450 labels?  I've used the Avery labels in the past and already have a template set up for them in Avery.  If these have the same alignment on the page as the Avery labels, then I should be able to use them without having to set up a new Template in another program.

Question 10

Last time I purchased this size label, I purchased the standard white matte labels which ultimately did not work.  The glue on them was not sticky enough to stay on the plastic tubes I needed them for and I ended up using scotch tape over them to get them to stay.  They were not the 'removable' labels. My question is, if I make the investment (triple + the $) for the Weatherproof labels will they stick on and stay where they are put?

We apologize for the adhesive issues you’re experiencing. Our Weatherproof Matte Inkjet (WJ) and Standard White Matte (WX) both have a permanent adhesive that works well on most surfaces. Another option is our Aggressive White Matte (AT) which has a very strong adhesive and may work better for your application.

There is a wide range of factors that can contribute to how well a label adheres to the surface it’s being applied to so we’ve included some recommendations below.

-It’s important to ensure that the surface is clean and free of any debris, dust or moisture before attempting to apply your label.

-Applying the center of the label first, and then continuing to apply pressure outward will ensure a nice, even application that should promote better adhesion.

-Be careful when handling the label before application. Oil from your fingers can negatively affect the strength of the adhesive - try to hold the labels by the edge and touch the adhesive as little as possible.

-Remember, our labels are pressure sensitive, so be sure to use some force when applying them to your surface or container.
