Can I put one of these labels on a CD and write to it? and will it be readable in a computer if it has the label on.

The Clear Matte Laser is intended for laser printing, however you could use a permanent marker like a Sharpie to write on it. If you're concerned with the ability of your disc player to read or write to the disc, I would recommend a CD label. Using a rectangular label like the OL1100 could potentially cause balance issues depending on how sensitive the disc player is. how do I order 4 different upc barcodes ?

If you are looking for custom printed labels you can use our Maestro Label Designer to generate the barcodes and submit them for printing. You can have the same barcode throughout the entire sheet or set up the template to have all 4 barcodes on one sheet. Will it smudge with water? (if I use regular water based ink?)

The Clear Matte for Inkjet is not a waterproof material so contact with water or other moisture will likely cause smudging. You could potentially try using a clear overcoat spray to help protect the printed area from moisture. However, I would recommend samples for testing this overcoat spray on the Clear Matte for Inkjet. For best results, change the material type setting to a Photo or Glossy option. This will help prevent smearing or smudging with regular, dry contact. If you have access to a laser printer, our Clear Gloss and Clear Matte for Laser are waterproof and should not require additional coatings.
