Can these be used as name tags without damaging clothing?

Our Standard White Matte (WX) is commonly used for name badge labels. If the clothing is not delicate, our Aggressive White Matte (AT) may be a better option. Below is a link if you'd like to request samples for testing. https://www.onlinelabels.com/samples

we use plastic storage bins from Costco for holiday displays and we keep them in the garage when we aren't using their contents. we've tried packing tape to hold paper labels on, but the heat in the summer keeps causing the tape to unadhere. we've tried labels from a lable maker, with the same result. will these label work on the storage bins and stay adhered during the heat of summer and the cold of winter?

Our Standard White Matte (WX) features a permanent adhesive and works well with most applications. The adhesive, once applied, can withstand temperatures from -75° F to +200° F. For long-term use on plastic bins, you may want to also consider testing our Aggressive White Matte (AT). This is also a paper-based label but includes an aggressive adhesive that works well on difficult surfaces. This adhesive can be used in applications with temperatures from -65° F to +200° F. Several reviews state these labels hold up in a cooler/ice bucket. That is not true, our experience is that the print blurs and runs. We upgraded to weatherproof laser, even those experience flake and peel of the printed lettering/logos. Do you actually test your labels or just rely on reviews?

The Standard White Matte (WX) is an uncoated, paper-based material so it's not recommended for use in wet applications. Instead, we'd recommend one of our weatherproof materials at the link below. If you're using a laser printer, you can achieve a more durable print result by adjusting the printer's paper type setting to a "Labels", "Cardstock", or "Transparency". https://www.onlinelabels.com/materials/weatherproof-labels
