Can we print them with sublimation cmyk process? Sublimation should be possible on polyester coating. Our Logic is - when image is within coating / not on the top as printed with laser - could be more resistant to scratching. We are using now very expensive Rowmark Subli - Mates and trying to find alternative material. Thank you very much!!!

We have not tested our laser materials with sublimation printers. The laser materials are coated to withstand high heat, but are not designed to absorb dyes. Is this good to use as safety reflective tape, say for a backpack, while walking in the dark?

Our Weatherproof Silver Polyester Laser (SP) material has a brushed silver finish and features a permanent adhesive. Although it does provide some reflective qualities, it is not specifically graded for safety. We also offer the Silver Foil Laser (SF) which is reflective, but does not provide the same durability as the weatherproof option. How well does the ink hold up on these? I purchased the clear sticker paper sold by Silhoutte but their paper didn't seem to take the ink from my inkjet printer well... it was splotchy at best, and at worst, almost appeared to bead up on the surface paper in some spots. Just curious if this issue may be related more to the printer than the paper? Or maybe the Silhoutte clear sticker paper just isn't very good. I'd like to try this Clear Gloss for Inkjet paper from onlinelabels but $50+ is a lot to spend on paper that I'm not sure about how well it will work with my printer. Would love any feedback on how well inkjet printing works with this paper as far as quality and saturation of ink. Thanks!

I use the print to cut feature on my Cricut Explore Air 2. When making custom labels/stickers for customer I prefer a gloss finish. I think it looks more professional. I have trouble with the Cricut being about to read the scan marks when I use your gloss white labels. It just will not work. Do you make a semi-gloss full page - no back slit label. Something between your matte and gloss. If anyone has any suggestions on how to eliminate those dang scan error messages I would love to heat them. Thanks....and love your labels!

Is there a set temperature range that these can be applied for exterior vehicle use? For example, can they be applied if it is below freezing? Do these need any surface treatment to protect from fading or running? Thanks

The Weatherproof Matte for Inkjet is a very durable material and water resistant, however it is not considered UV resistant so exposure to direct sunlight for an extended period of time could cause fading. You could potentially treat the labels after printing with a UV protective spray like Krylon's UV-Resistant Clear Coating to improve durability in direct sunlight. The minimum application temperature for the Weatherproof Matte for Inkjet is +23° F. Once applied it can withstand temperatures from -20° F to +212° F. Printing surface looks and works great for our application.

The liner on this stock is so slippery, that the Sharpe laser printer has a hard time feeding it. I have to push each sheet in, one at a time.
