For the clear labels can Color be added when creating my labels? Or does it have to be black and white only. Will the ink smear on my label because it's a clear label?

You can use black and color when printing on the clear materials, however any white in your design will be left unprinted since most home and office printers are not able to print white. The clear materials are completely transparent so there will still be some transparency to the printed area. Printing darker colors and applying to a dark surface will make your printed design very difficult to see so applying the labels to a lighter surface would be recommended. The Weatherproof Gloss (WI) is not considered a transparent material, however it does not include an opaque backing to prevent other text and images from showing through. Depending on the print coverage of your design, you may be able to use this to cover an existing label. The Gold Foil Laser is not coated to withstand moisture. Although we do offer the Weatherproof Silver Polyester Laser (SP) material, we don't currently have a gold option in weatherproof.
