It this label is placed on top of another printed label, can you see underneath print through the label?

The Standard White Matte (WX) material is not designed for this type of application and you will likely see the print underneath the label. For the clear labels can Color be added when creating my labels? Or does it have to be black and white only. Will the ink smear on my label because it's a clear label?

You can use black and color when printing on the clear materials, however any white in your design will be left unprinted since most home and office printers are not able to print white. The clear materials are completely transparent so there will still be some transparency to the printed area. Printing darker colors and applying to a dark surface will make your printed design very difficult to see so applying the labels to a lighter surface would be recommended. The Weatherproof Gloss (WI) is not considered a transparent material, however it does not include an opaque backing to prevent other text and images from showing through. Depending on the print coverage of your design, you may be able to use this to cover an existing label. Truly my question is about any of your labels that don't have a coating on them. I am curious if they are recyclable? I would like to purchase recyclable ones if they exist, but not sure if the adhesive backing prevents this

We do offer the 100% Recycled White (RX) material which is made from 100% post consumer waste. However, this and our other label materials are not considered recyclable since the adhesives are acrylic-based.

Hello. Purchased these and finally getting to use them. is there a way to get a smoother application. When applied, there is alot of air bubbles.

There is a wide range of factors that can contribute to how well a label adheres to the surface it’s being applied to so we’ve included some recommendations below. -It’s important to ensure that the surface is clean and free of any debris, dust or moisture before attempting to apply your label. -Applying the center of the label first, and then continuing to apply pressure outward will ensure a nice, even application that should promote better adhesion. -Be careful when handling the label before application. Oil from your fingers can negatively affect the strength of the adhesive - try to hold the labels by the edge and touch the adhesive as little as possible. -Remember, our labels are pressure sensitive, so be sure to use some force when applying them to your surface or container.
