The Pastel Pink (PX) is an uncoated, paper-based material with a matte appearance. While we do offer white gloss and clear gloss materials, we don't currently offer glossy colors.

Question 3

Hello!
I still can't figure out how to get my label toner to not rub off my labels! At the end of a one day event, they look bad because the toner is half rubbed off.
Please help again! I have called once already, but the same thing is happening, whether I spray the labels w/ a glaze or not.
I have a brand new laser printer (which I know NOTHING about), tons of $$$ in your beautiful silver labels, and some really cool ideas for using pictures of our paintings on my product labels, but I can't make the toner stay! It is a very frustrating situation!

We apologize for the issue you have experienced. Smearing or smudging can occur with both inkjet and laser printers. This can generally be resolved by adjusting the material type setting within your printer options. For laser printers, adjusting to a heavier option like Labels or Cardstock should dramatically improve the toner adhesion.

I had a customer ask me if these labels were water proof. My guess is that they are not going to fall apart if they get a little wet but they are not made for outdoor use. The fact that you print on them with a laser jet would mean that the ink is most likely not going to run on them. Right?

Our Standard White Matte (WX) is an uncoated paper-based material and not recommended for wet applications. For outdoor use, you'll want to consider our weatherproof options at the link below.

You can adjust the paper type and print quality settings within your printer options to achieve the most durable print quality. A paper type settings such as Photo, Glossy, Labels, or Heavy paper will provide the best results. A "Standard” or "Normal" print quality setting would be recommended as well.

Do I have to order this white gloss inkjet, AND another piece of paper to put underneath it ?Or I am ok with just buying the paper as it is? Please and thank you

The White Gloss Inkjet (WG) is a self adhesive label stock with a glossy coating. This is printable in most inkjet printers and features a standard permanent adhesive that works well in a variety of applications.

This can generally be resolved by adjusting the material type setting within your printer options. Since the Clear Gloss Laser (CL) is laser-only material, you shouldn't see any smeared ink. However, you may see that the toner is flaking or smudging. Try adjusting the laser printer's paper type settings to a heavier option like Labels or Cardstock. These options should dramatically improve the toner adhesion.

what is the weight of these labels?  i have a setting of HP120 or HP150

The White Gloss Laser (WS) has a 57# face sheet with a 44# liner. The facestock is 3.7 +/- 10% mil in thickness and the liner is 3.2 +/- 10% mil in thickness. For a GSM value when printing, you can select 151-176.
