Liner Caliper: 3.2 mil ± 10%

Is the weatherproof polyester label white or transparent? Also, does it lean more towards gloss or matte?

I just got this question from a customer. "Hi, I just got my egg carton stickers and they are adorable, but I noticed they are not sticking to the cartons. Do you have any recommendation on how to get them to stick better? I have just normal cartons like you have in the picture."  Hoping you can help.

We apologize for the adhesive issues you're experiencing. Our Weatherproof Matte Inkjet (WJ) has a permanent adhesive that works well on most surfaces. However, there is a wide range of factors that can contribute to how well a label adheres to the surface it's being applied to so we've included some recommendations below.

-It's important to ensure that the surface is clean and free of any debris, dust, or moisture before attempting to apply your label.

-Applying the center of the label first, and then continuing to apply pressure outward will ensure a nice, even application that should promote better adhesion.

-Be careful when handling the label before application. Oil from your fingers can negatively affect the strength of the adhesive - try to hold the labels by the edge and touch the adhesive as little as possible.

-Remember, our labels are pressure-sensitive, so be sure to use some force when applying them to your surface or container.

-If the application includes overlap with full coverage printing, make sure to leave the bottom side of the overlap unprinted. Ink and toner can make it difficult for the adhesive to fully bond.

These said they were weatherproof but they are rubbing off with water. How is that weatherproof?

The Weatherproof Gloss Inkjet labels are designed to withstand direct contact with moisture and water. Adjusting the printer settings to a photo or glossy paper type setting, along with a normal or standard print quality setting should help to resolve the issue.

Are this label oil resistant? Want product on a jar but not sure if ink will come off if I wash my jar.

The Weatherproof Polyester Laser (LP) material is a very durable material and the material itself will not break down when exposed to oil. Although it is possible that the toner from your laser printer may react to the oil and cause discoloration, so samples would be recommended.
