Please explain how printing on these works...I don't see an explanation of how to use these if one wants to print on them.

The OL5400WX (1" x 0.375" white matte labels for laser & inkjet printers) labels are sold blank on 8.5" x 11" sheets and are intended to be printed on in a standard desktop laser or inkjet printer. Most customers who purchase this product will use our Maestro Label Designer software to design and then print onto the labels. Maestro Label Designer has a built-in template for the OL5400WX and you get an activation code for Maestro Label Designer when you purchase this product from us. Question 2

We want to use this size label to identify wire destinations. We need to wrap the labels around small gauge wires folding the labels in half and sticking to themselves as a flag on the wire. We hand mark the wire number and destination on the labels. Are these labels easy to write on with a ball point pen? Thanks, Jim

Do either of the websites that you mentioned in the first question have the ability to turn a upc number into a barcode? If not, do you know any software that would have that ability and be compatible with the OL5400?

do you have a temperature rating for this label? I did not see any details in the specs. what options do you have for hi temp use?

I want a super sticky material which can't removable. Can we use this sticker for plastic bottles and caps? If not, then suggest me any other sticker.

Are the clear gloss also weatherproof/wear resistant? We want to use them to label USB drives that people will be touching a lot. I was interested in the weatherproof, but it appears they don't come in clear material.

Please note that if you are using an inkjet printer, the Clear Gloss Inkjet (CK) and Clear Matte Inkjet (CJ) are not weatherproof so they would not provide the same durability and moisture resistance.

Do these have a black border?

The OL5400AT would be blank with no borders or other printing. The rectangular outline seen on the product page is to illustrate the shape of the label and the layout of the sheet.

Question 10

Is it possible to run this sheet through the printer multiple times, removing a few labels each time? Or do all labels have to be printed at once? Thanks!

Accepted Answer

We do not recommend running sheets through the printer multiple times, especially once labels have been removed from the sheet. We do have a lot of customers that do run the sheets through the printer multiple times and it will work in most cases, but this can increase the likelihood of a jam that could damage your laser printer. Because of that risk, our policy is to not recommend running the sheets through the printer multiple times.
