Can I use regular printer and or ink to print out my invitation ?

This product (OL713SI - silver foil material for inkjet printing) is intended for use with a standard desktop inkjet printer so it should work with your printer. As far as we know, there are currently no regulations relating specifically to pressure sensitive label materials being used in archival applications. The facestock of this product complies with the NSI/NISO Z39.48-1992 for "Permanence of Paper for Publications and Documents in Libraries and Archives". Claiming that any adhesive is definitively safe for archival purposes is tricky, due to the fact that there’s no accurate method of measuring the acidity of an adhesive once it’s been applied to a label product. This product (OL177WX) utilizes an emulsion acrylic adhesive rather than a rubber-based adhesive, making it a much better fit for archival applications. Emulsion acrylic adhesives do not yellow or degrade to the level that rubber-based adhesives do. The adhesive is water based and does not include any of the oils used in the compounding of rubber-based adhesives. In addition, the adhesive has passed the Photographic Activity Test (per ISO-18916), which specifies that it is compliant and graded for use in photo-storage applications.

Can I use a ballpoint pen to write on these labels or will the ink smear?

The True Gray is an uncoated, paper-based material and can be printed on with an inkjet or laser printer. You can also use a ball point pen or marker on this material. Are the OL713FR labels in Fluorescent Red removable?

The Fluorescent Red material has a permanent adhesive. We do offer a removable adhesive but this is only available on the Removable White Matte material, https://www.onlinelabels.com/material_removable_labels.htm .

what is the weight of the paper? I need 80#

Our White Gloss Inkjet (WG) material has a facestock weight of 57 lbs. per ream ± 10% and a liner weight of 50 lbs. per ream ± 10%. In terms of thickness, the face sheet is 4.1 mil ± 10% and the liner measures at 2.8 mil ± 10%.
