Is the adhesive issue for the Kraft labels resolved from back in 2019? I need a heavy duty adhesive for my glass and plastic containers, some very small like lip balm, and the ones I use currently aren’t cutting it. I need to upgrade to a higher hold adhesive and it sounds like yours weren’t great back then. Please advise. :)

Our current Brown Kraft (BK) has a permanent adhesive that works well on most surfaces. However, there is a wide range of factors that can contribute to how well a label adheres to the surface it’s being applied to so we’ve included some recommendations below. -It’s important to ensure that the surface is clean and free of any debris, dust or moisture before attempting to apply your label. -Applying the center of the label first, and then continuing to apply pressure outward will ensure a nice, even application that should promote better adhesion. -Be careful when handling the label before application. Oil from your fingers can negatively affect the strength of the adhesive - try to hold the labels by the edge and touch the adhesive as little as possible. -Remember, our labels are pressure sensitive, so be sure to use some force when applying them to your surface or container. how can i waterproof these labels?

The Clear Matte for Inkjet is not a waterproof material but you could potentially try using a clear overcoat spray to help protect the printed area from moisture. However, I would recommend samples for testing this overcoat spray on the Clear Matte for Inkjet. If you have access to a laser printer, our Clear Gloss and Clear Matte for Laser are waterproof and should not require additional coatings. The White Gloss Laser (WS) is a glossy coated paper-based material and is not intended for outdoor use. A weatherproof option like our Weatherproof Polyester Laser (LP) or Weatherproof Vinyl Laser (LV) would be better options.
