What's a non-printable margin?

Non-printable margin is an industry term that refers to the unprintable border around your label sheet. Most desktop printers can't print all the way to the edge, thus leaving you with a non-printable margin.

While the exact dimensions vary from printer to printer, the limit for most models is 1/4" (0.25"). To find out your printer's non-printable margins, use this free tool. You can then shop all label configurations with your printable margins in mind or jump straight to our verified print-to-edge labels.
